this was the last time I was in the windy city this year and man I had fun.

Well a great and fun day at Lincoln street!

20 or so people came together with no experience with spray paint and simply amazed me. It was such a joy to see all the people come together for such a great cause and I left with a felling of family and life long bond. They knocked out this part of the project in 5 hours and then went right to work with other things needed to be done right after. they worked in the 100 degree heat and built a fire pit and raised the pole for the parks shaded aria. These people who donated there time and put there hands to work for FREE keep me believing in the spirit of Detroit and its never say die mentality. The park has really changed since I first laid eyes on it 5 years ago and I can't wait to see how much more we can do next year! congrats to all the volunteers on a job well done . You Rock!!!!!
